Groups offer support, a safe space to share and hear how others are dealing with similar situations.

Christian Talk Therapy started its first group in 2008 and it ran for 8 years. The support you gain through the shared experience of group therapy is unmatched. You will learn, heal and grow through participation in a group, and the benefits are similar to those gained in individual therapy. Our groups are led by experienced, Master's level therapists who love God and are called and anointed to counsel His people. We are excited to bring the group therapy and support group formats to our online Christian community around the world!

A SAFE SPACE FOR CAREGIVERS



Are you a caregiver for a parent or other loved one?

Do you feel isolated, resentful, helpless or overwhelmed?

Do you need help, but for some reason are unable to get it?


If so, this group is for you!


Being a caregiver can be very draining. It can cause emotional strain, deplete your joy and zest for life, affect your finances, and leave you feeling guilty, angry, and alone. It is so difficult to see your loved ones decline mentally and physically, and as their caregiver, you may feel responsible for their happiness, their health, and their overall well-being. This group will help you find balance in your HONORABLE CALLING of being a caregiver and learn to care for yourself, too.

MEN FEEL, TOO



For men, LOSS hits differently.

Men may experience more pain due to the lack of supports available to help you process your painful emotions. Men have been taught not to cry, so you may struggle to find healthy outlets for your sadness and grief, and instead experience excessive anger, depression, or lose your will to live.


With this group, we aim to give men an outlet so you don't suffer alone.


Whether you lost a loved one last week, last year, or 30+ years ago, you are welcome to join us.

As a caregiver your life has been structured around your loved one. For most, you sacrificed your freedom, needs, and desires to ensure your loved one received the attention they needed. As a result, your life may have been put on hold for years. Now that you're no longer a caregiver, you may struggle to figure out exactly who you are. Losing your identity as a caregiver and grieving the loss of your loved one is a double whammy. Let's work through these grief and identity issues together and help you get your life back on track.

Our Group sessions are conducted using ZOOM. You will need to download the app or you can participate via phone, if necessary. We will also utilize a website for other group communication, discussions, and activities.

The fee for all groups is $100 per month
